DO YOU NEED A LOGO?
You’d think I’d say yes considering I get paid to create them, but it’s not always the case, so I’m about to get real 👇🏻
In fact the 5 things I’ve outlined here are waaaaaaay more important, and what really creates a brand that people buy into long term.
Yes, a logo adds another layer of kudos, because it crystallises all of this into a graphic device. But a logo without all of this is pretty pointless tbh.
For example, if you only have a social media presence, do you really need a logo at all? Can we build your brand with tone of voice, and look & feel of your feed? It can be a really good place to start if you can’t invest in the full branding process, that still encompasses these 5 touch points.
When clients come to me saying ‘can you design me a logo’, I just flat out say no nowadays, unless they’re willing to get into this nitty gritty. This is a part of my branding process that I won’t budge on.
