US VS. AI
Artificial intelligence + the creative industry 💭 (some thoughts…)
AI can now create anything from a screenplay to a fully functioning website, in seconds. So what does this mean for creatives?
Well, we’re not worried that what we do will be replaced by AI anytime soon.
Most of our clients don’t come to us just to get a purely functional end result.
They don’t come to us to get a logo, they want to work with the human being that’s creating it too. The interactions that come along with the branding process are real, and from the heart. They can sometimes be challenging emotionally, they require empathy, and they very often don’t make a lot of logical sense.
Creating in its most raw sense is not logical, it doesn’t follow algorithms or work within parameters - at least it shouldn’t. It requires something that only humans have - call it a soul.
Although we can agree there is a ton of very cool art out there created by AI, we also ask, what are you buying? AI could easily mimic a Picasso, but no other forgery has had the same fame as an original. Real art comes from the person that made it.
We keep as much humanity in our work as we possibly can, nothing is automated, everything has a ❤️
+ the more the world does become automated and template based, the more we intend to do the opposite. To use our human 🧠 and bare hands to make everything we do.
As long as our clients connect with this human aspect of our business - the stories behind the people that offer our services - there is something that a computer just can’t do.
Basically, a computer can never be you.
